DAMARINE ANTIQUES

The shop , open year round , is an integral part  of our
home , The Benjamin Day House , one of the oldest
homes in town , built in 1754 on the banks of the
Damariscotta River  in Damariscotta , ME.

Display space is on the first floor of our restored barn
and in the new Garden Room .

Between the display rooms is the workshop where all of
the furniture  is inspected and necessary repairs made
to ensure that it is ready to be used in a client`s home.

DAMARINE ANTIQUES is a privately owned shop , not a
group shop or consignment operation. We have
searched for , purchased  and restored everything we
offer for sale .

We are located at 263 Bristol Road ( Route 129 /130  )
two miles south of downtown Damariscotta on the main
road to the lighthouse at Pemaquid Point. The shop is
open year round seven days a week.

Additionally , we have a large display space at Avalon
Antiques Market on Route 1 , just south of downtown
Wiscasset , ME .  Our space is inside the front door to
the left as you enter. Avalon Antiques Market is also
open year round seven days a week. The driving time
between the two locations is approximately 15 minutes.

We have added a new dimension within the business
specializing in the acquisition and sale of original
artwork. It is named the NOVANGELUS ART GALLERY
and its focus is on conventional art . The gallery
operates exclusively from our Damariscotta shop.
