Exotic mahogany veneer, square cut nails,
large hand planed back boards and dovetailed
drawers.
Replacement backsplash of solid mahogany (in
the appropriate period design ). Two over four
drawers with book matched veneers on drawer
fronts. Replacement brass pulls ( of the period
design ) Completely restored.

Slough had it before him. " Square cut nails, original glass pull,
dovetailed drawer , nicely turned delicate legs , circa 1850.

Pine baker`s table with one large drawer and a fifth
leg supporting large drop leaf . Circa 1890`s , the
underside of the table top edges show clamping
marks from hand driven kitchen tools ..
Baker`s tables are highly sought after by people
with space limitations. With the leaf down the table
can be pushed against a wall and only protrude into
the room space by 24 ". When more table space is
needed for guests it can be centered in a room with
the leaf extended and four people can be seated
comfortably.
